In the 20 years of its existence, The Fast & the Furious franchise has upgraded itself several times over the years. What started as a story about illegal street racing transitioned to heist thrillers with Fast Five and with every next sequel inflating the action set pieces & discarding physics, the series now enjoys the same status as comic-book blockbusters, glued together by its sermons
Fast Five and Fast and Furious Six were the best of the franchise, great action movies while still being borderline more on the realistic side (before they went to space and shit) the first 3 movies were dumb street car racing flicks and the last 3-4 movies had too much cgi and becoming very repetitive. Fast X was the worst imo.
The movie also managed to get an IMDB rating of 7.0 and was block buster hit. Cast: The main cast members of the film include Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Sung Kang, Luke Evans, and Gina Carano. Release Date: May 24, 2013.
Fast & Furious 6 - Metacritic. 2013. PG-13. 2 h 10 m. Summary Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) asks Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) to help him take down an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers. In return, their crew will receive full pardons and be allowed to return home. Action. Adventure.
Gary Scott Thompson. Producer: 88 Minutes. Gary Scott Thompson is a writer, producer, and director. Among his many films and TV series: writer of "The Fast and the Furious," creator and executive producer of NBC's "Las Vegas," co-developer, writer, and executive producer of TF1 and NBC's "Taxi Brooklyn," and executive producer of NBC's reboot "Knight Rider."
But unlike the first, 2 Fast 2 Furious still boasts a lacklustre plot. Nevertheless, it's a great "bro" movie for the guys. The partnership between Roman Pierce (Tyrese Gibson) and Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) is amusing and works well as they team up and do next to impossible driving stunts with each other.
